In January 2023, Kerry Wilson took part in a recorded episode of BBC Radio 4 programme Thinking Allowed, where she joined presenter Laurie Taylor and anthropologist Professor Adam Kuper, to debate the contemporary role and value of museums to society. Professor Kuper discussed his latest book – The Museum of Other People: From Colonial Acquisitions to Cosmopolitan Exhibitions – and Kerry responded by sharing her research on the social value of National Museums Liverpool (NML), including a chapter published in the edited collection Museums and the Working Class on NML’s dementia awareness programme House of Memories. The episode was broadcast on 1st February and can be downloaded here.
